End of the Rainbow Granny

Materials-
H Hook
Aran or Worsted Weight Yarn in the following colors-
Black
Yellow
Red
Orange
Green
Blue

Pot- (this is crocheted in the round)
Using black chain 7

Rnd 1 – (Working in one side of chain) sc in 2nd ch from hook, 4 sc, 3 sc in the last ch, (working in other side of chain) sc 4, 3 sc in last chain, ss to 1st sc to join.

Rnd 2 – ch 1, sc in same st, 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc (3 times), 5 sc 2 sc in next sc (3 times), ss in 1st sc to join.

Rnd 3 – ch 1, sc in same st, 4 sc, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc) 3 times, 5 sc, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc) 3 times, ss in 1st sc to join.

Rnd 4 – ch 1, sc in same st, 4 sc, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc) 4 times, 7 sc, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc) 4 times, ss to 1st sc to join.

Rnd 5- chain 1, sc in the same stitch, 5 sc, finish off black

Rnd 6- join yellow to the first stitch in rnd 5, sc in each stitch across, finish off yellow, weave in ends

Back of pot
Turn over the pot. You will be creating a series of chain fours in a diamond shape in them back of the pot.

Join with black in the 3rd rnd, in the center top, ch 4, ss in the 6th chain of the beg chain, ch 4, ss in the center bottom of the 3rd rnd, ch 4, ss in 2nd chain of the beg chain, chain 4, ss to the first stitch of the back diamond. Weave in ends.

Granny-
Rnd 1-Join red to the first chain 4 of the above group, chain 3, 2 dc, 1 sc, 3dc, ch 1, (in next space 3 dc, 1 sc, 3 dc, 1 ch) repeat 3 times, ss to top of chain 3, finish off red.

Rnd 2- join orange to corner space of one of the corners, chain 3, 2 dc, 1 sc, 3dc, ch 1, (3 dc in next sp, ch 1, in next sp 3 dc, ch 1, 3dc, ch 1) repeat 3 times,
3dc in next sp, ch 1, ss to top of chain 3, finish off orange.

Rnd 3- join yellow to corner space of one of the corners, chain 3, 2 dc, 1 sc, 3dc, ch 1, (3 dc in next sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next sp, ch 1, in next sp 3 dc, ch 1, 3dc, ch 1) repeat 3 times, 3 dc in next sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next sp, ch 1, ss to top of chain 3, finish off yellow.

Rnd 4- join green to corner space of one of the corners, chain 3, 2 dc, 1 sc, 3dc, ch 1, (3 dc in next sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next sp, ch 1, in next sp 3 dc, ch 1, 3dc, ch 1) repeat 3 times, (3dc in next sp, ch 1) repeat 3 times, ss to top of chain 3, finish off yellow.

Rnd 5- join blue to top of the chain 3 space, sc in the same space, single crochet around the square, ss in first sc. Finish off blue.

Weave in all ends.
